During my transit through Teluk Bakau, I stayed at Ten Rooms and I must say, the convenience of the nearest airport being only 20 km away made my journey so much easier. As a frequent traveler, I appreciate seamless transitions between destinations, and this hotel provided exactly that. the rustic room setup added a unique charm to my stay, making it feel like a true escape from the hectic world of travel.

While the gaps under the door and in the window allowed some unwelcome guests, such as ants, spiders, and flies, to make their way in.

Good value for money on a peaceful part of the island. The beach may not be ideal for sunbathing, but it's perfect for paddling and playing in the water. The staff were really good, allowing me to stay past check-out time. The food was delicious and affordable. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxed and budget-friendly stay.

The hotel was located next to a taxi from the ferry terminal. the location was beautiful by the beach. - the staff here was fairly friendly.

What a little gem! The rooms may not be fancy, but they're clean and cozy. The beachfront is well-kept and just steps away. The small size of the resort creates a friendly and social atmosphere, perfect for making new friends. The staff, especially Maui, is incredibly welcoming and goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort. The location is great, with a nearby bar and seafood restaurant, and the makcik next door cooks fantastic food. Although exploring on foot may be a challenge, there are transport options available. The kiteboarding here is amazing, and the staff is always happy to assist with any needs. Can't wait to return!

Had a blast spending Xmas at this hotel! The staff were super friendly and always had a smile on their face. They went above and beyond to keep me happy during my stay. Loved that they offered free use of paddleboards and even provided equipment for kite surfing. The location was perfect, right on the beach front, and it was only a short stroll to find a couple of seafood restaurants. Plus, they had a little spa hut where I got to enjoy a relaxing massage. Can't ask for much more than that!

The only downside was that the kitchen closed at 5pm, so if you didn't feel like heading out for dinner, it was a bit of a hassle. It would've been better if they had more options available for dinner and kept it aside for later.

What a lovely small place to relax in! The rooms are clean and homely, and you’re steps away from a well-maintained beachfront. There being just 10 rooms, this place feels a bit like a well-run backpackers inn where you can make friends with other guests. Boyski and team are always around to help you with anything or just to chitchat. If you’re hoping to explore, it may be difficult, but the makcik next door cooks great food, there’s a fun nearby bar, and a seafood restaurant down the road. Good value with free breakfast, wifi, AC, and toiletries.
